Here's a question: Is Rush a "sIut" for traveling to a renowned sex tour destination with a bottle of Viagra in his possession without a prescription?

Survey says... "YES!"

No, it doesn't. That's a silly conclusion to draw... Just another example of beloved and positive Muslim at a time when the Right Wing media is obsessed with making it seem like America is at war with an entire religion.

The not-so-original idea was to try to elevate the dialogue and stop with the silly name-calling and divisiveness. I'm sorry you missed it.

Actually, Jon Stewart brought out Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as a representative of a typical, peaceful, pro-American, gracious, informed, hard-working member of the American community and Muslim.

So you're condemning the whole thing because of two people who went too far?

Out of over 60,000 people having a good, pleasant Saturday together? You didn't like two?

Statistically, it sounds like you didn't actually have much to complain about.

"Wonder how many of those geniuses at the "sanity" rally own Che t-shirts? Or how many of them think those curly, mercury filled light bulbs and Priuses - with batteries that are horrible for the planet once they've outlived their 8 or so years - make them better people for "caring" for the planet? "

Probably just as many as Conservatives who show up at Conservative rallies with wacko-fringe t-shirts. Why do you have to focus on the extremes and not the sensible people there who are more like you than not?

Jon Stewart's point was that "we live in hard times, not End Times." It's time for sensible people to stop letting the rabble-rousers pit them against each other over the stupid things and get real work done.

It's not about how many Che shirts or Hitler mustaches or racist Obama signs get brought by the stupid people who just want to scream their close-minded opinion as loudly as they can.

It's time for serious people to get serious and stop letting the stupid people chose the debates we have spent too long distracted by.

It seems to betray a incredible amount of out-of-touchness to name yourself after what most of the world considers to be murderous, horrible intolerance waged as sanctioned holy war.

That's just bad business.
