I don't recall seeing Gorelick, but Dodd, Frank, and a few others were mentioned, as well as G. W. Bush for making things worse with his "compassionate conservatism."

Sowell goes into a lot of detail of the results of efforts by politicians to provide "affordable housing". He also discusses the strong arm tactics of the government to coerce the bankers into giving the Congress critters what they wanted, and how misguided the whole effort was to begin with.
