As an Artist myself, I am appalled at this entire conversation. I would never have thought so many artists could bend so quickly to the whim of those offering grant monies~ What ever happened to my beloved community of "starving Artists" I would rather go broke then sell out like these have done! No thank you NEA I rather bid for my supplies with my meek budget on EBAY!

As an artist myself I am appalled at this entire issue. So does that mean that artists in need of grant money would be denied if they didn't play step and fetch for the socialists? It's a good thing I fund my own art endeavors. Then again I love my independence way too much to become indebted to any of these so called "not for profits" get rid of them that way self sufficient artists like myself can actually have a chance to compete. It's difficult to do so when your not a card carrying member of one of these criminal organizations.
