i don't get the soapbox either dude.
Patrick you need your own entertainment channel. I almost want to watch idol, but only if it came with your commentary.
Actually Mark, I make films as opposed to sitting back and judging the hard work and artistic visions of people who believe in something rather than find their importance through a 3rd person mock existence. I think it's fair to assume that if someone stays in school longer than Van Wilder that they're afraid of abandoning their comfort zone, the crash course, or hand holding offered there in. And it would be a personal pick, if this were a social network, or he were not The Film Editor. Also, (again) I didn't attack the pick...I merely suggested that beginning with a biased assertion hardly affords the reader any confidence in the specific suggestion. That point is valid enough, which is perhaps why it is consistently misunderstood. Unless, you are Chris as well. Alias indeed.
Everything isn't a loose term. I highly doubt, judging by the comment volume in this section alone, that you can afford to bully your patrons for their polite opinions. I apologize if I misjudged you, what film projects are you currently or have you recently worked on?
I would never discredit this film. And contrary to your infantile defensive disorder, it has nothing to do with Ben Stiller (especially since I already stated I appreciated his attempts and triumphs in humor). But perhaps when you sport those big boy pants and take the position of Film Editor on a publication such as this seriously, you'll pick (not pic) something other than a basic cable rerun.
while Tropic Thunder, Zoolander & Reality Bites are 3 of my favorite movies, I'm pretty sure the world could do without all the awkward attempts that provide filler in The Stiller Legacy. Selective laughter speaks volumes in taste. And the fact that Along Came Polly, The Heartbreak Kid, Duplex & Mystery Men all kept you in stitches definitely limits the weight of your proposals. But those that can't do write huh?
