Sirul should divulge the truth behind the motive for the murder of Mongolian Altantuya and those who instructed him to carry it out. Perhaps by doing so he can seek retrial and safe himself and Azilah from the death sentence. Sirul does not anything to lose by disclosing such vital information. The real culprits are roaming freely whilst the hit men are facing the gallows/ This is gross injustice and should be remedied. I hope Sirul will in all earnest tell the world the truth behind this high profile murder in which the Malaysian Prime Minister and his close advisor are also implicated. It will also caste serious doubts on the Malaysian police force and the Attorney General's office. For the good of the nation Sairul should speak the truth and every thing he knows about the motive for the murder.

I predicted this scenario three decades ago. Having negotiated wages and better conditions of employment in the electrical industry I foresaw that the future of Malaysian workers after retirement is very bleak. As such I negotiated between 4-6 percentage increase over and above the minimum statutory employers' EPF contribution, thus enabling workers to have close to a third of their income in EPF savings. This only helped a segment of the Malaysian workforce. The majority of them don't have much or no savings after retirement and as reported would end up as destitute. For sure Malaysian workers face post-retirement poverty without any form of sound social-safety net to protect them. Being a retiree myself I can feel the mounting pressure to sustain my living standard. I would blame the government for its failure to provide means for a sound social-safety net. Whatever the working community have as EPF savings will vaporize in no time and that is the end game of the prevailing situation. POST RETIREMENT POVERTY WILL ESCALATE.

Tun Dr. Mahathir and Tun Daim Zainuddin should realize that they can no longer proceed with their habitual bad behavior of undermining serving Prime Ministers and the government. Though I am no fan of Najib, it is foolish of Dr.Mahathir and Daim to carry out such vicious and venomous attacks on Najib. When Najib and his supporters fight back Mahathir and Daim get worked up and start crying. Mahathir and Diam should first check whether their hands are clean before they attack Najib.

. For the sake of the nation's wellbeing both Mahathir and Daim should back off from the rampant attacks against the Najib administration. I reiterate what I said in my earlier message. Is Mahathir and Diam' s hands clean to criticize Najib? I am sure Najib knows a lot about the wrong doings of Mahathir and Daim when he served as Minister under Dr. Mahathir administration.

The public is proud of you Datuk Seri Khairuddin Abu Hassan . You are a brave heart and deserve to be supported in your efforts to get to the bottom of the alleged financial scandals in 1MDB. No stone should be left unturned in finding the truth.

Well said. It is fools dream of going to heaven by killing, raping and destroying people's livelihood and future. These fools are brainwashed and indoctrinated that god loves those who kill others. I wonder whether ISIS leaders have been to hell or heaven to propagate their evils among people. It is high time that the police have a watchful eyes on these madrasas. I have seen children of tender ages in such madrasas in Pakistan and Bangladesh which are funded by Arab countries. These children end up as child labour in the production of surgical equipment and other forms menial labour. Without any future they eventually end up as militants. The police and authorities should seriously look into this problem before it becomes cancerous. Malaysia cannot afford to have its peace and harmony to be disrupted and destroyed by such fanatics.

It is the blind leading the blind case with language nationalist who dream of a single stream education system in a plural multi-cultural nation like Malaysia. National language is taught in every schools and what is the need for a single stream education system. The nation is divided by politicians, racists and religious fanatics and not through the education system as is currently practiced. The one thing that needs to be done urgently is to inculcate patriotism and sense of belonging to the nation among students. Racial polarization among students should be discouraged. Race and religion should be put in the back burner and push for patriotism, unity and solidarity among students. For this the teachers too have to be educated about unity in diversity.

Certainly Tun Abdul Razak has a place in the hearts of millions of people. Though, many allege that he was partly instrumental for the May 13 1969 racial clashes that killed and maimed thousands, it goes without saying that he was also the unifying force behind the peace and harmony that prevailed for years after this deadly clash. As stated by his sons, he was careful in not using tax payers and public money for personal needs, desires, glory and wants. I have this to add to the long list of achievements under the late Tun Razak. He also pushed the unification of the labour movement into national unions in which labour had a much more unified voice in society. Compare these values, ideals and legacies with his eldest son and serving PM, DS Najib who lives and survives under dark shadows of scandals, abuse of power and lavishly spending public money at the misery of the people. What legacies will Najib leave behind. NONE! Then comes Tun Dr. Mahathir, the longest serving PM who ruled with iron fists. He fragmented the labour movement, abused the government machinery to suppress and oppress the people, build world class infrastructures and left the nation with third world socio-economic development and racially divided. Tun Razak is a legend in his own rights and has a place in history.

This is my take on the retired journalist Datuk A Kadir Jasin's comments. If Dr. Mahathir, Daim and Kadir want to criticize Prime Minister DS Najib, they should come with cleans hands. Are their hands clean? The public is smarter then what Kadir thinks and they could to read his mind and message which is spiked with subtle threats against the Najib administration. It also gives clear impression that Kadir is a bootlicker working for Dr. Mahathir and Daim. The public know enough about Dr. Mahathir and Daim. Therefore no amount of such subtle threats or sarcasm will rock Najib. The trio should enjoy their retirement and leave politics alone.

The IGP should answer why 20 policemen went to arrest Paulsen. Since the IGP said nobody should politicize Paulsen's arrest and detention, it is incumbent of him (IGP) to say why such a huge contingent of policeman went to arrest a well know human rights lawyer. Like former IGP Musa said the police could have just summoned him to appear at any police station and he could have come voluntarily. Unless the IGP clears this doubt Paulsen's arrest and detention will certainly be politicized. The ball is in the IGP's court.
