Next time you comment, try reading everything instead of skimming.
The silly drought has already been addressed in the comment section.

The close-minded points you brought up are hardly worth responding to, but very quickly.

1) Input costs are going up across the board, some companies can absorb and some cannot. You are not disproving anything just making random assertions.
2) You are suddenly an expert in Hostess? �They had old equipment eh? �According to the unions, which is where you are getting that absurd comment, how about facts and logic instead of rumor?
3) Blaming greed and hedge funds is Leftist boilerplate and does not belong in any intellectual conversation. Those funds are the only Hostess survived as long as they did, the company accrued debt for a reason.

Laugh and be arrogant all day long, does not make you look smarter or validate any of your "points".

P.S. That is absurd claptrap and again, you are just parroting talking points. Lending in big banks was crunched, other lending was fine. Justifying printing money shows you that have no grasp of economics and that is beyond anything I can help you with in the comment section. Anyone who advocates fixing credit expansion busts with more credit expansion is very very lost.

The question is why the bankruptcy happened, not what happened after the fact. � Executives lining their pockets in anticipation of bankruptcy is sad and manipulative, but in the grand scheme of things a meaningless gesture. �We are talking hundreds of millions in losses and thousands of jobs lost, a bonus to salary conversion is peanuts.

No I do not realize that and neither should you, since if it was the drought it would affect wheat prices - and it has not.

Even more amusing is that the map you yourself provided debunks your very assertion.
The drought is primarily Texas, Arizona, parts of Colorado, New Mexico, parts of Nebraska.

Primary corn states are: Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, and Minnesota.
On your map you provided those states are experiencing moist conditions. The only state that has some regions affected by drought is Nebraska.

See, apologists will always try to justify and explain, but facts, they are stubborn things.

The worst part, your reading comprehension is akin to that of a 3 year old, as you cannot even understand the very sentence your pasted. You are so dull that I have to actually spell out to you, that the second half of the sentence is about Mitt Romney. I feel very sorry for whoever is unfortunate to consume your rhetoric as you barely have sufficient intelligence to decipher a few sentences. Yet somehow YOU call ME mean and inciteful, you represent precisely the lowest common denominator that I describe - I find it almost amazing that you show up within 20 minutes of this post.
