Thank you for the excellent comment. Though we will never know how many folks called in support or against this cap and tax bill, it would be interesting to know what the tally was. I feel as you do that many times our representatives just don't care what we think or say. Some are in thrall to other interests whether that be business or other elected officials. I have been pleased, for the most part, about Representative Carter's votes. His district tends to be Conservative. Before being elected to Congress, Representative John Carter was a judge in Williamson County.

I am so impressed with Mr. Bates' explanation of each of these principles and values. Thank you for standing up for what is right and just.
