I gave birth back in November, had to stay two nights at the hospital. I about died when I saw the bill come. $1750 per night... Luckily insurance covered it.

My friends father is in the Monroe prison, and they do have internet access. I don't know how much, but that's how all letters are sent now. You email inmates, and there's a fee for every message incoming and outgoing.

Back when I had an android phone, I had an app called Lookout. Has the ability to track a missing phone from any computer. And the app can't be uninstalled from the phone without the unique password for the app. Also you can remotely wipe your phone, and play an alarm sound on the phone. So if you are tracking it, you can activate the alarm (high pitched siren) and find it.

This is the alternative for an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, etc). I got this as soon as I got my iPhone 4. Has basically all the same features as Lookout for android. GPS location, alarm, and remote wipe.

I recommend every one get the respective app for their phone. They're both free, and very handy even if you misplace your phone around the house and it's on silent mode.The alarm sound will still go off. :)
