You should always keep these products out of reach. Though there are some very adventurous children that can climb everything in site and still get into them by accident. My little guy can climb so fast. You can imagine what a stress case I am :-) So sometimes it really is just an accident.
Not necessarily. I had a tetanus shot 4 years ago. I called my doctor to see if it included the whooping cough vaccine and they said no, and that I needed to come in and get the booster. The best thing to do is call your doctor to make sure what vaccine you were given. There are 2 different vaccines. The td(tetanus/diphtheria)
and the tdap (tetanus/diphtheria/pertussis aka whooping cough).
Not sure why you got a thumbs down. What you said is very accurate. It starts out just like a common cold. Also I breastfed for 18 months and my son still got various illnesses. It helps keep them healthy, but does not make them immune to everything.
That is why I got the booster. I want to protect those around me who are immune compromised or cannot be vaccinated for various reasons. Whooping cough is highly contagious. You could spread it unknowingly to others around you at the store, mall, etc. I just felt like it was the responsible thing for me to do.
You should always be prepared in case of an emergency. What if we had an earthquake and the power went out? There is no predicting that.
Absolutely!! I have been watching branches snap all day. Though I am fortunate to still have power. Don't know for how long though.
As much as I want it to snow a ton, I can defiantly understand the stress you must be feeling. I have two kids who would be devastated if they could not get to their vacation. Hopefully you can get out ASAP !!!! Thursday looks hopeful. Good Luck to you and your family.
I agree. I started complaining about no snow, but when I thought about it, sun is way better than being stuck with rain.
Don't think this article was about eating pop tarts and mcdonald's everyday. Is that bad for you, of course. Do I eat that way...no. But I think if I want fruitloops every once in awhile it is not going to hurt.
