Why is it hilarious to mock acts of love by committing acts of hate?

"Food stamps help the White House"? I assume he is admitting that foods stamps buys Obama votes.

Contraception is widely available, no one is talking about outlawing it, and everyone is free to choose their employer and health care plan. How in the world is this about women's rights or reproductive freedom?

Obama is prohibiting every person and every organization in America from purchasing the health care plan that they want to purchase. He is shoving down the throats of every American his personal heath care agenda. Everyone must have the health care plan he wants. No choice allowed. What is worse is that this clearly violates the First Amendment free religious exercise clause in that it forces people of religious faith who are opposed to intentionally killing human life after conception to pay for it.

If, indeed, the burning was intentional, the question must be answered, why not preserve the books to study them to better understand our enemies' motives and processes? Maybe the extremist messages contain references to Islamic scriptures supporting jihad. If so, maybe the Korans were burned to hide the fact that these jihadists rely on Islamic scriptures to support their jihad. Just throwing it out.

Obama has stated that he became a "Christian" for political and sociological reasons (to help the poor and oppressed), not religious ones. When asked, he denied that he had a personal relationship with Jesus and he said that he doesn't even know if there is life after death.

Also, the "church" he went to says that it is a Black Liberation Theology Church founded on the teachings of James Cone. A study of Cone reveals that his faith is much closer to the Nation of Islam than it is to Christianity. In fact, he taught that blacks should reject the peaceful teachings of Christ and Martin Luther King to "turn the other cheek" and rather accept Malcolm X's motto "by any means necessary." Maybe that why the "church" named the vile black supremacist Louis Farrakhan their man of the year.

I think that this and many other truths certainly allow for a doubt as to Obama's Christian faith.

Here's the consistency: Abortion kills an innocent human being: Capital punishment kills a human being who has forfeited his right to life because of his crime.

God specifically said: "Thou shall not murder." If a person is a human being when aborted, abortion is a violation of that commandment.

By your logic, since the Holocaust was sanctioned by the state, Hitler didn't murder six million Jews.

As a society, we commonly describe the intentional killing of an innocent human being as murder whether the controlling government criminalizes it or not.

One can sign a contract in California at age 18 or when they achieve parental emancipation upon application and hearing of same. So, if I understand you correctly, the state can not protect the life of an innocent child until age eighteen or emancipation. Are children just property of the parents in your world?

As for your question: I am a Liberal in the sense that basic rights, such as the right not to be killed without just cause, inherently belong to the individual, not the state. When the state fails to extend the same police protection to an unborn child it extends to all other persons living within its boundaries, it violates the right of that unborn baby to his life.
