He finally got the AG to admit there is no law against receiving bonuses. Amazing who could not know it is a modern day lynching. Sad though when gov't doesn't like something happening they just pass a law then it's "illegal". People deserve to be paid for work and if the gov't doesn't like that they shouldn't have given the money in the first place.

point is we have way "legal" way to protest and fight what is being done to the Constitution. I definitely agree our gov't hasn't been run by law (Republic) but actually a majority (democracy).

Studying the civil rights movement in a college lvl history course and it's interesting how MLKjr. 1.manipulated the media, 2.said no physical violence, 3.don't wait for change, and 4.do a Christian based protest (turn the other cheek). Obviously, these tactics work.
Organization was also very key and when it broke down their protests were not very effective.
Doesn't matter if you were for or against the CRM but the steps to being acknowledged are proven. You can tell I really do try to stay interested.
We have more to work with because they were protesting amendments to the Constitution weren't being upheld. We are protesting the Constitution isn't being upheld. Remember we live in a Republic and it isn't a majority thing but the law which governs our nation. They also formed the NAACP which fought in the courts while the protests were held.

Only 1/5 of the spending bill is going towards "infrastructure". Wasteful infrastructure too. Eq. a bypass tunnel under a train track that would stop traffic twice a day. 15 mill. wasted. The "create jobs" part is gov't jobs. Again unproductive, wasteful, and would only continue if funded again. I don't agree with the Bush spending either and we should of got out of the war when no "weapons of mass destruction" were found (mission objective accomplished then get out). Tax cuts have a multiplicative effect and create Sustainable employment. All the money spent on the war over 8 years is still not even 1/8 the spending bill.
Dude can't you tell congress, both Rep. and Dem. are just buying votes. You seem fairly intel. but how are you missing it? If you had no job and and somebody just made up something (tape sticker inspector). Just as congress has a obligation to the lobbiest who buy them ;the "tape sticker inspector" feels an obligation to vote the same people again. (or they won't have a job because their job will be seen for what it really is "unnecessary" ). I'm not sure if your just disagreeing to be disagreeing or if you actually believe the stuff you posted. This site is for people who love the USA, the principles and values it was founded on, and a discussion area on the issue topics.

I support rights. I was born with rights and gov't is supposed to protect these rights. Gov't does NOT create rights. Health care is not a right, owning a house is not a right, etc....

If I remember correctly. They were not innocent but the US prosecutors were so caught up in gov't bureaucracy it took nearly a decade to form a case. Simple information needed to form a case when requested took months to get to the prosecutors. Easiest example is business and red tap. Expensive, time consuming, and a waste. Sad to say justice wasn't served.
