I have a question, right now i'm trying to update to 4.0 from a 3.1.2 unlocked and jailbroken iphone 3g.. i put it in dfu and did shift restore from a iphone 2g 4.0 firmware that i got from felix burns this morning.. unfortunately i keep getting a error 13 when i try to update anyone know why that keeps happening?

oh ok, well i'm not sure cuz just before i got stuck at the recovery screen, i did it just before that and it said tcc pending i believe.. plus i thought it was too late to do it but whatever might aswell hit it so i did...also reading the devteams blog about the pre-game show and ponagetool they say to stay away from it if i have the new bootrom on iphone 3gs, which i do have. I'm wondering if i make a frimware via ponagetool then it will not work for me...shicks i think i'm out of luck.. DAM YOU APPLE!
I did click the MAKE MY LIFE EASIER BUTTON, but i did it yesterday morning... i have been reading that even though i'm on 3.1.2, since apple stopped signing the 3.1.2 frimware my shsh aren't saved on suariks server and if they are it will be of 3.1.3 not 3.1.2, i don't know is this is true or not....either way, i'm really thinking about making a costum frimware via ponagetool so i can update to 3.1.3 with an unlocked and jailbroken iphone, im reading this on iclarifieds " How to Jailbreak Your iPhone 3GS Using PwnageTool" tutorial.. i'm really scared to update anything labeled 3.1.3 cuz i don't want be locked...
Ok i read did that, Since i'm technically still on 3.1.2 and 5.11.07 (recovery mode) but that still what im on.. if i create a custom frimware via ponagetool, i can upgrade to 3.1.3 safely with an unlocked and jailbroken iphone 3gs at 3.1.3 frimware? is this true? btw thanks for all your help.
No, I did, but it was after after stopped signing the 3.1.2 frimware, so NO... i have warranty on the phone til march is there anyway i can go to apple and exchange for a 3.1.2 3gs? or any custom 3.1.3 frimware that will let me keep my 5.11.07 baseband so i can have it unlocked/jailbroken at 3.1.3... i tried the custom frimware on ilikemyiphone site or something like that but the itunes reports back an error of 1600 or 1604, plus it states not to use it if i ahve the newer bootrom anyways.. which i do..... am i out of luck and going to have to update to 3.1.3?... freakin' APPLE!

tried to restore it... got error 1600 and 1604 twice i tried.. gonna try again... aso it takes a loong time to extract frimware iuno if thats normal it takes about a min to 2 mins..
my iphone 3gs new bootom 3.1.2 which is unlocked and jailbroken is in a connect to itunes loop and blackrain nor redsnow nor any other software have been able to start it up agian.. it just turns off when i run these probrams.. anything i can do? i need to stay unlocked and jailbroken.. i don't care if i have to restore, which most likely i will need to,..anything i can do?
If i update my iphone 3gs new bootrom..which is currently on 3.1.2 unlocked and jailbroken, as i'm using it with tmobile..if i use the frimware thats for tmobile users.. can i still use the phoen for tmobile once its restored by this frimware?
i'm only restoring before my device is stuck on connect to itunes loop and nothing with crack it.. not even blacksnow for the thethered jailbreak and no irecover or nothing.
