Campaign donations should be banned. Every one gets the same amount of designated funds when they register as a candidate, and that is all. If you don't use it all, you pay it back to the universal campaign funds. If you misuse it, you foot the bill for your campaign bills.
A large part of the problem right now is that Obama is working double time to "pay back" all of the people and groups who donated obscene amounts of money to his campaign fund. That is why he is throwing so much so fast, at the American public. He's worried that if he doesn't push their agendas through fast enough, they will come at him. That's what you get for launching your campaign with corrupt officials, domestic terrorists, and the like.
The Constitution needs to be taught in age appropriate ways in every level of education to each student, each year that they attend school, from kindergarten through college.

It is humbling to realize that the people who received the AIG bonuses are not the faceless monsters Congress and Obama are making them out to be. Instead, they are scapegoats with families. This particular executive was asked, and agreed to, work for a $1 yearly salary (like Ed Liddy), to facilitate the deconstruction of the AIG F.P. division. He originally had NOTHING to do with the division that caused AIG to fold. He came to help, and is now being accused, found guilty, and crucified, without being given his Constitutional right of a trial by jury. We should ALL remember that each and every American is INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT. This gentleman's bonus was his family's entire income for the year. He probably is not the only one. Here is the link:

Our current health care system came close to killing me. It started with a civilian doctor performing a hysterectomy, and ended 2 years later with a military doctor reviewing my records and realizing that I was suffering from seratonin syndrome, due to myriad doctors treating an individual symptom (not all together), prescribing ANOTHER medication, and referring me to ANOTHER specialist, who treated a different symptom, with an ADDITIONAL medication, and passed me to ANOTHER specialist. And so on and so forth. I have been recovering my health for a year, and still needing 4-6 doctor visits a month. My oldest remembers his "Mom", my youngest only has memories of an overmedicated disabled zombie suffering recurring seizures. She is only now discovering what having a mom is like. The only entity I want in charge of my health care is me, and my husband on my behalf. He works 100 weeks, and puts his life on the line gladly every day, to provide me with health care(as well as every right, freedom, and entitlement I take for granted at times), and will delay retirement as long as needed, t make sure I c continue to receive coverae.
That is a first class example of entitlement thinking. Slavery was abolished 150 years ago, yet minor children mouth off in school about how they should be paid because slavery was legal in the U.S. 10 generations ago. As a once in a while, substitute teacher, I am amazed at what I hear. And it is from the five year olds as much as the seventeen year olds. I usually tell them to trace their family tree back to the actual slave they have descended from, and to submit a bill to the U.S. Treasury.
Our poorest citizens are the homeless. Living in parks, and under bridges, in alleys, with no food, clothing, or shelter. I have yet to hear our government provide them a minimum level of anything. I've been there, as a child. I'm not now, because I started working at age 13, and never stopped until a became a stay home mom, through choice and planning.
They aren't like any of my neighbors, unless you are talking about Sarah Palin. She could be any one of my neighbors. I see nothing elitist there. Just a large, upper middle class family, who love one another. If the governor's salary was discounted, and they lived on Todd's salary they would be regular middle class, maybe even lower middle class, with Alaska's high cost of living factored in. She started in the PTA, because she disagreed with how things were done at the elementary school.
Many people still are illiterate. Even more are ignorant.
If you don't agree with at least 7 principles, then by definition you are not a 9-12er, which leads me to be curious as to your continued patronization of this site and dialogue with members?
I knew before the election that Obama had made a great many promises in order to get elected. He didn't make them to the voters. He made them to the special interest groups, and the political money launderers. He made back room deals in a terrorist's house. He is now falling all over himself to keep each of those promises, as quickly as he can. He doesn't care that it is blatant and visible to all of us now, because he is already in power. He has 4 years of holding on to the brass ring. Will we still be America in 2012? He is moving this quickly because he has to. Obama has shown his hand in the first 60 days. He knows that if he can't deliver the United States to those who engineered his rise to power, in the next four years, then HE IS DONE. And so is anyone that was allied with him, during his rise and fall.
It is up to all of us to make sure that America stays United and Free. Unified resistance to beat back the encroaching parasitic disease that has been unleashed. Stand together, Surround them, and in the 2010 and 2012 elections, DEFEAT them.
Ask them one question. Do you agree with at least 7 of these 9 principles?
