Pat, me boyo, have a good strong slug of a man's Irish Whiskey, and maybe it'll burn some of the cobwebs out of the cranium. What he lives in is almost besides the point. The point is, The Point Is, he is at his old games, lying and deception to present an untrue picture of himself to the voters.

Hey, dumdum, he lives in Oakland, not San Francisco. I'd LOVE to be able to own a $1.8 mill cottage in SF, but can't come close at even $250K.

This shows his attitude towards voters. Approving Prop 13 was the public's way of saying several things, and one of them was to have the guvmint stop spending so much money. Brown's first move in office was to to around the will of the people and give them a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

Expect the same type of fiscal disrespect if Brown were re-elected.

Not a surprise.

Stood on a streetcorner in San Diego across from the Mexican consulate. I was with about 80 other people who were not happy with the consulate's support of illegals (this was about 5 years back).

A consul secretary (highish up on the food chain) came out and said a few things, one of which was, just watch us grow in numbers and we'll take back the land you took from us. This was only remarked (slightly) on one media outlet which was disgusting. Two major outlets (Union Tribune and one of the TV stations) had people there, but I didn't read it or see it on TV. They just reported 'a few anti-immigrant activists were protesting'.

They've been wanting this for years.
