I might be inclined to take your deal. You guys (y'all here in Texas) take Perry and we'll take Rendell. At least he can't be perpetually re-elected by calling himself a conservative. He'd be out in the next election - not to mention, powerless in Texas politics until then.

#7 - The federal government cannot force states to impose a state income tax; flat or otherwise. This increases the control of federal government rather than decreasing it. I do agree with eliminating the IRS, but there are better options on the table than this one.
#8 - Unfortunately our military is needed to protect our interests even if the budget is not balanced and debt not paid. We can't leave ourselves unprotected just because some idiots in government overspent.
#9 - No problem with most of this except limiting outsourcing. If we are going to limit a corporation's ability to outsource, we must first decrease or eliminate the taxes payed by corporations so that they can be competitive with foreign companies.
#10 - Seriously? Government taking control of corporations and deciding who is "too big?" That doesn't sound like freedom.
#11 - Not a bad idea in theory.
