I agree to a point there. So the whole argument is based on the use of the word "ass" (a$$ ...in case a censor filter gets it), because that is the only curse word uttered in the whole performance.

When you say "our" kids, I presume you mean your own, because I know exactly what my 8-year is watching at all times. And in the cases where I am watching something with him because I don't know the whole content and some language does appear, he also knows that there are grown-up words, which he is not to use until he is old enough to decide when to use them.

I am sure your household is one of fairy-tales and fluttering blue-jays tweeting about, where never a stray word is ever uttered. Why are you watching a prime-time popular music awards show, when you know that you kids already see enough "decadence" from Hollywood? Is Nick at Nite not available to you, or watching old tapes of Little House on the Prairie, or a Veggie Tales movie or something? Why would you even allow such decadent hollywod channels to even appear on your tv in the first place, or own a tv? my goodness!

1.) It's called freedom of speech and expression.
2.) At no time was the F or S words uttered in the song... or the N-word for that matter.
3.) Yes the word a$$ was used. Not sure I liked that on a prime time tv show, but I grew up being taught that "fart" was as bad as all the other words.
4.) I am about sick of the hypocritical nature of this new conservative movement. Yes, liberals want to control you minds, speech, and pocketbooks, but many so-called conservatives want to control our souls. How about everyone just stay the hell out of everyone else's business?

Based on this tape alone, here's what I see wrong...

1. Protesters on private property.
2. Deputy urging a crowd to show dislike of protesters. Is this mob rule or rule of law?
3. Deputy speaking with authority on subject he was not aware of (saying it was private property before knowing where the property ended/began.
4. Deputies not confirming authorization to be on sidewalk outside of property, as the protesters claimed to have had.
5. Deputies shutting down filming based solely on "lawful order" whatever the hell that means.

Things I don't have a problem with..
1. Deputy stating his religious beliefs.
2. Deputies offering many many MANY chances to leave property or be jailed.

I'm sorry, but how can you let a statement like "there are possibly similarities" [between Glenn Beck and the facist, terrorist Theocracy of Iran] go by, even if it was said with a chuckle? Seriously?

Love him or hate him, he's supposedly a free American with a right to an opinion, and even if you disagree with his point of view, how could ever compare him to Iran, or let someone slide by with a joke doing so?

Buffalo, particularly male ones, are not to be trifled with. A friend of mine keeps a pair on his farm, and he has had to switch out the male ones a couple of times now. They're amazing animals.

Holy freaking cow. She is obviously mixing up the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. Do they not have staffers to proof-read their stupidity before they insert their diatribes into the Congressional Record?

I'm not sure if this is worse than Guam potentially tipping over or not.

From the NEA via the NJ School Board Assoc.

Hard to find official numbers, but everywhere I google, a toll booth worker makes about $36k a year.
