Need some help with my brother's iPhone 4. He is heading to India (currently on AT&T) and needs to jailbreak & unlock. He is running 4.3.3 (8J2), Model MC608LL with firmware 4.10.01. What options does he have? I had the great fortune of having Frank help out with my upgrade from 3.1.3 today, and I'm hoping someone can be equally as helpful.
Thanks

I have updated the firmware, and it seems to be working fine. Two Questions: 1. Should I set up the phone as a new phone, or restore from a previous version. 2. I don't need to restore the unlock with ultrasn0w or anything, correct?

"Important If you have a iPhone 3GS made after week 40 (2009) currently you can only perform a tethered jailbreak using pwnagetool or redsn0w. This means you will need to connect the iPhone 3GS to the computer each time you wish to restart the device. The week number is usually the 4th and 5th digit of the serial number. If you are on 3.1.2 or 3.1.3 then you should use Spirit to perform an untethered jailbreak."
