President Procrastinator. Lovely.

I still have a lot of time and it is reallyreally hard and it isn't my fault, soo, um, it is going to take more time. I will get to it, someday, if the bad people stop being mean to me. Maybe we can make the bad people do it 'cause I caaann't!

I am talking about the idea that it is a huge scandal and that media matters and most everyone else is making such a huge deal of it at all. Perhaps my comment is not specific to the article but it does apply to the behavior of those crying foul.

The people involved hacked phones. Google obtains information about people and sells it. They obtain it from phones, through email, through search engines, through facebook and more. Google does not always obtain the information through legal means. Google is under contract with federal agencies to provide various services. I don't see why that is not a scandal and this is.

This is why I asked if I am missing something. Did they do more than hack phones?

I have not been following this closely but how is it that big of a deal? Wrong, sure but not much different than what google does. Am I missing something in all of this?

I like watching Palin haters. It is such an interesting thing. It is even more amusing to watch them try to explain it. If it were just that they disagreed with her politics the emotional investment makes no sense. She holds no office, she has no power at all. No reason for the intense emotions. I think it really is that she is a strong woman, accomplished, happy and loved. It must be so frustrating for the self hating people who choose to identify themselves as victims. To have it shoved in their face that they are really victims of their own choices and no one else has held them back must be very painful. Better to lash out rather than do a bit of self reflection.

Most conservatives choose to work for a living and raise their families. They don't really have time for that sort of thing.

Aww, *hugs* Little Truck!

"I don't know what "Regressive double-speak" means. I'm guessing that is cool Conserva-lingo used to debase people who disagree with you politically and/or philosophically.

But to your "facts" and "evidence" claim, vile acts are found on both sides of the table... "

followed by a mess of links pointing out bad acts, from You! So cute! And it was a bit before you pointed out that pointing out bad acts as a justification was a losing argument. I know sometimes it is hard to keep up. It is ok. I love having people like you post here!

@ TruckBoat: "Pointing to the bad acts of one group to justify the bad acts another is a failing argument."

Shall we look a few posts up to the links you posted?

Would you like to start over and try again? I almost feel sorry for you.

I see it this way. When your lazy, deadbeat, adult offspring starts dragging you down with him, you kick him out of the basement and make him pay his own way.
