You know what? I haven't. Life is looking a little bit different from how it did a year ago, but I still haven't come back to it. I saw it on my shelf the other day and thought about it, so maybe I'll get round to it soon.

It is. American Psycho is clever satire - because I always think the best satire is written by someone who might have been there and done that (not the killing, but maybe the coke). But all of this I loved, because it's such an alien society to me. I find it hugely fascinating that he has a lifestyle that some people strive for, and yet it's just so awful and boring. People in this world actual want one of those superficial lifestyles, and yet look at what it does to Patrick Bateman. I do feel sorry for him, and I have a bit of a thing for lost souls.

Tee hee! Yes, I suppose. I'm not sure that I'd like to actually be friends with Patrick Bateman... Could prove too interesting for me! I'm not sure many other people will have chosen Patrick Bateman, but I'm peculiar with the characters that I like and I don't! Oops!
