Integrate this into Silverlight's Bing Maps and say goodbye to Google Maps.. The problem with this Ovi 3D map is performance (it seems to be very slow).. however, Silverlight's deep zoom can easily fix that :)

Nice.. if the president actually uses a Windows Phone, this would give the platform huge publicity. Perhaps a Dell Venue Pro (with Mango and all the bug fixed, of course) for Mr. Obama?

Thanks John!! Stay tuned, I will probably make a video demoing the ability to autostitch and take the pics inside of the app when the new SDK and mango dev image is releaesd for the device. Hopefully Brandon Watson keeps his word :)

I plan to keep improving and improving on the current app. Right now one of the biggest issue is the inability to take pictures from within the app, and inability to autostitch the pictures. Well after the new SDK is released, these won't be a problem anymore :)

I can use the gyroscope (or compass + accelerometer) combined with the camera access to take pictures and stitch them in real time.

I also want to make an augmented reality app. I have a pretty good idea already

My app will be one of the first to take advantage of the gyroscope. I've been one of the many devs nagging for this feature since last year.. I am over filled with joy right now.
