This is an excellent essay! I especially like the third paragraph as it perfectly answers the part of the prompt that tells you to look at Said's work through the lens of Hirsch. It was something i tried to do, but did not come this close. That being said I would like to see more of your opinion. The end of the prompt does ask whose example you would find more useful.
