The First Amendment applies to the government limiting your free speech (and even then we have decency and libel laws). It doesn't have anything to do with people not liking what you have to say. Maher is not being censored by the government and therefore your post is completely invalid. Maher is legally allowed to be completely classless and we are legally allowed to call him on it.
