I am an atheist because I finally opened my eyes. I never had strong beliefs and my family was rather impartial to going to church. Simply put, after taking college courses on Geology and Biology (I was actually taught Evolution for the first time!), plus my lack of belief in the super natural parts of the bible, the light switch came on. The decision was quick and easy after that.
