I have complete conversations with my cat. I tell her what's on my mind and she sits patiently looking at me. In my mind she's listening and imparting her wisdom through a series of complicated winks.
Sometimes I put as many things as possible in my hair and walk around looking like a 6 year old is my stylist.
I play Bohemian Rhapsody on my French horn as loud as possible just to see how long it takes before my neighbor starts making noises from her house to let me know it bothers her. Also, I dance naked in my living room and do yoga in my underwear.
When I'm in a public place and other people think their children are being cute, but in fact, they're just being freaking annoying, while the parents aren't looking I teach the kids how to say "Vasectomy" and tell their daddies to get one.
Don't tell anyone!

I'm going to say YES to that. Otherwise I'd have no relationship with my family!

Having said that, although I don't watch DWTS, I have seen a couple of Bruno's interviews, and what I noticed about him and a lot of gay men, including my own friends, is that they seem to think it's okay to talk to a woman a certain way because they assume we don't perceive them as "sexual predators". What they fail to understand is that some things are still offensive no matter who is doing the talking. I wouldn't speak that way to another woman, and I wouldn't want it done to me.
Lil Kim isn't on this show to be judged on her personal career or how she has chosen to portray herself. That's her business. She's there to be judged on her dance skills, and kudos to her for putting herself out there. She's showing a softer side to herself we rarely get to see, and she seems to be enjoying it. Bruno is obviously there for shock value, because honestly, half of the time no one knows what he's saying, but he should really choose his words a little better. Maybe it was a language issue, I may give him the benefit of the doubt. But as far as race is concerned, WOC are scrutinized much more and on every platform. As an Hispanic woman I get my share of crap and it sucks. WOC are the lowest on the equality ladder. And it doesn't look like it's going to change anytime soon. All we can do is take the high road and do what we've always done - work harder than everyone else to prove we're equal. Hopefully one day we'll all just be people.
