Why do I get this sneaking suspicion that we've just seen the only remotely interesting scene in the entire film (dude going wolfy on a vampire)? Has anyone actually managed to stomach the book enough to find out if anything other than emo-vampire scenes will happen? I know we're hardly going to get Underworld-level vampire on werewolf action, but please tell me there's at least SOME fights...

Well, I don't know about that. I'd love a new TV show, if it were either set in this alternate timeline (revisiting this time period with the captain and crew of the Defiant, for example, would be ace since we already know the fate of the ship in the original timeline so seeing how things play out in this new one would be great - what wonderful things would they find, since the Enterprise is hardly the only ship in Starfleet?) or entirely within the Mirror Universe.

I'm torn... I'd frickin' LOVE to see the Federation get destroyed by a single Borg cube, but I think that's far too early - the films with the Borg in them generally weren't too great, either, save for that one scene were Data kicked all their butts. The Klingons considering the Federation weak and declaring them unfit before launching an all-out war would be pretty awesome, though...

I'd like to see Khan, but only if Spock fought him... It would be a great little twist to the formula.

First, we need an entire TV series based in the Mirror Universe. :D

Bah, what's a few tens of millions to Fox, anyway? They probably make that in a week from adverts on TV. :p

Well, this is really terrible news to show up on my birthday... I loved this guy in his parts, even if they were small. I only watched Robin Hood: Men in Tights four or five hours ago, as well.

He'll be missed quite badly (I'm sorry for always pronouncing your name wrong!).
