It may not be a right but it is the right thing to do. It does work in other countries by the way, maybe not perfect but does that mean we shouldn't try? We have no problem spending the economy into oblivion with war but we can't help our own? How selfish is that? And by the way public polls showed a majority of us favored it when their was a public option but the republicans fought tooth and nail to remove it and now we have a bill that is really watered down and is not of much help, but better than nothing.
