you mean entering the information in winscp?
then you are trying to get the connection through usb?
for that you need to have startet the iphone tunnel suite programm on your pc. in that go to tunnel suite and enter the password (alpine). then you are get to go for winscp.

did you figure it out by yourself?
without tunnel suite winscp can't connect through usb.
You need to have .Net Frameworks (there are several versions) installed for a lot of programms like tunnel suite. Get it through the windows update, from the microsoft homepage or by searching for it on google.

it's not the emulator, it's a permission problem. refer to the articles in the zodipedia if you don't know how to change the permissions of your roms folder to 0777 (or 0775. doesn't really matter)

no, there will be no overlay while playing with icontrolpad and thus it could be faster. noone can say it exactly as long as it isn't released. but if you read the comments from zod in this blog entry you will find this information too.
