Watchmen was one of the worst comics series ever. I have always been surprised how highly the critics think of it. The whole thing was filled with anti-Republican trope, left-wing sentiment, and misfired analysis of the Russians. It is essentially a thoroughly anti-American piece of work. Tho, that's probably why the critics love it. It is a hate-America comic book. I created a web page ripping Watchmen years ago: http://www.publiusforum.com/watchmen/watchmen_ind...

That is what I wrote, but how you went form me talking about their wealth to saying we need to pay them a ton of money in Congress is anyone's guess. Again, I made no mention at all about their congressional salary and benefits. You inferred that and in fact it has little to do with anything. Their salaries as elected officials have little to do with this thread. It is a separate issue.

But if you must know, were I king for a day, I'd eliminate their benefits, all pensions, and leave them with just a salary. Like I said, they are already rich. There is no reason we need to enrich them more with the public treasury.

Uh, apparently you did not actually read what I wrote because NO WHERE in there did I say "elected officials needed a higher wage." In fact, I never once brought up their congressional salary. If you are going to criticize me, at least stick to what I actually wrote!

Any one that uses the "work" of Thomas DiLorenzo is a fool, indeed. He is the worst hack pseudo historian out there. He begins with a premise then goes forth to "find" proof of his biased preconceived notion. He ignores all facts that stand in the way of his premise. The man is a disingenuous, hack.

I think you're an idiot. How's that? This story is not about Gary Rabine, who he supports or doesn't support. In fact, it isn't about conservatives, either. It's about regulations and the business sector. Try some reading comprehension lessons.

Seriously, dude. We GET that you hate Gary Rabine. Take your silly little campaign to someone else's web page.

Uh, the same guy was there during Arnold's term, too. You have no point.

Reading comprehension problem? Or do you just refuse to click on links that takes you to the evidence?
