I think you missed my point. There is no crisis. The whole human-caused global warming myth was created, literally out of thin air, to make Al Gore rich with carbon credits and the government richer with carbon taxes.

It is called the Hegelian Dialectic. Create a crisis, then offer to sell the population a solution.

Remember the Climategate scandal? Leaks of emails and software source code revealed that the "proof" of human-caused global warming was totally made up after the Earth started cooling in the late 1990s. Remember "Hide the decline?"

On March 20, 2000 the UK Independent ran the headline story "Snowfalls are now just a thing of the past." We have had several record-setting winters since, with another clearly on the way!

Keep in mind that the government telling you the Earth is warming ans it is all your fault is the same government that told you Iraq had nuclear weapons!

Carbon dioxiode is not a potent greenhouse gas. In fact NASA released a study showing that in the atmosphere, it actually acts as coolant. Water vapor is the most potent greenhouse gas, but trying to get people to pay a "cloud" tax was unworkable. Methane is ten times more potent a greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide, but most methane comes from termites and deep crust microbes, life forms far too intelligent to believe Al Gore!

The fact is that climate on Earth is dominated by two factors. One is solar output, which varies over time. It appears that we may be heading into a repeat of the "Maunder Minimum" and a repeat of the "Mini Ice age" which lasted from the 16th to 19th centuries.

The other factor that controls climate is the shape of the Earth's orbit around the sun, which slowly oscillates between circular and elliptical. When the orbit is elliptical, the Earth spends more time at the far end of the orbit (according to Kepler's laws of orbital motion) and we get the ice ages. As Earth's orbit returns to more circular, the Earth spends more time closer to the sun and we get the inter-glacial periods.

So, until Al Gore and his fellow huxsters can control the power of the sun or change the Earth's orbit, all their claims of controlling climate are about as real as Caligula's war against Poseidon, and just as costly!

So, the gist of this article is that even though we all know the government lied about the torpedoes in the Gulf of Tonkin, Spanish mines in Havana Harbor, Lusitania not carrying weapons, Saddam's nuclear bombs, etc. etc. etc. we should trust that same government when it tells us human activity is warming the Earth and we should pay carbon taxes to atone, even though back in the 1990s they were saying human caused global warming meant snow was a thing of the past while today they claim human-caused global warming causes record-setting winters!

So, as a result, people are now free to imagine the worst possible horrors that could have been committed by the US Government!

Which sounds good until you realize that NSA will continue the spying regardless of the law. Indeed making the spying illegal only serves to lull the American people into a false sense of privacy to drop their guard about protecting their business secrets from government looting.

When you start playing around with weapons on someone's borders, tensions with that nation are going to go up!

Congress does not have any authority over the United Nations Security Council, which is the "P5" in "P5+1." Odd how a Congress totally uninterested in oversight when the White House wants to start a war suddenly demands they be heard when the White House wants to work towards peace! But I digress.

Congress, in inserting itself into a foreign policy issue, is in violation of the Logan Act. All they can do is order Obama not to agree to the P5+1 at which point the other nations will just move forward with their own agreement to end the sanctions, and the US will be the one who is economically isolated.

This makes those smaller countries easier to "manage" which has been on both the US agenda for Iraq and Iran all along.

It is really quite simple, Pat. back in 2012, the US "intervened" in Yemen to kick out the legitimate government of Yemen that wanted to rule Yemen for the benefit of Yemen and installed a US puppet that ruled Yemen for the benefit of American corporations. This is something the US has attempted against the governments of more than fifty other nations since the end of WW2, succeeding about half the time. The successes include Cuba in 1952, Iran in 1953, Chile in 1973, and Egypt in 2013. Obama bragged about the Yemen success in 2012! But the old model is starting to fall apart. The US plan of covert overthrow only works when the people of a nation follow the new Junta as they followed the previous leaders. But that has started to break down. The people of Cuba kicked out their US puppet in 1959. Iran kicked out their US puppet, the Shah, in 1979. The people of Eastern Ukraine responded to the US backed coup in Kiev by simply breaking off and trying to go their own way.

so now in Yemen, their people are tired of the US puppet Hadi and want their own President Saleh back. The American Empire, alarmed at how the pesky conquered provinces are refusing to stay conquered, is going to make an example of Yemen, one of the poorest nations in the Middle East, that you accept and love your US puppet rules or bad things will happen to you such as starvation blockades and the bombing of civilians and civilian infrastructure.

That clear it up for you?

So, the US takes a position that as long as Israel denies Palestine statehood, Israel can commit all the war crimes they want. That is like saying that as long as King George III prevented the formation of the United States, any crimes committed by his soldiers against the colonists were perfectly legal!
