It's not about money, it's about attitude. Now, I'll admit that you won't find any poor people in the ruling class, but, I know there are plenty of wealthy people in the country class. I don't like the term "reverse" racism. It presupposes that all whites are inherently racist and smacks of Obama's description of his grandmother as a "typical" white person. I am white, I am not racist, I have never been, and, if someone discriminates against me for being white, they are practicing mere racism, not "reverse" racism.
They always say anti-government to make it sound like it was David Coresh (sp) or something. More accurately it would be anti-intrusive/nanny/totalitarian government.
By corporatism, are you speaking in the terms Mussolini used? The language has been so corrupted by collectivists it's difficult to even argue about things. If you are speaking of the collusion between big government and big business to quash competition, then I'm with you. If you're a left wing socialist/communist/green collectivist, then you're the problem. We need a low consumption tax, no other taxes, small government and economic freedom and competition. Otherwise, we will continue down the road to serfdom a la the China Model that Lieberman seems to advocate.
By then, there may be nothing left. Have you seen the debt clock lately. I just can't be as cavalier about it all. We've allowed too many stupid people to have an equal say in our future and we're going to pay for it.
I've used the term "Cold Civil War" for years to characterize the conflict between those who love America and those who wish to destroy it. It is refreshing to see that phrase out there. It is accurate. Whether we like it or not, we are in a fight with self-loathing, America-hating Progressives who would rather see the United States converted into some kind of industrial serfdom along the model of China than return to economic health and vitality. But, if all we as lovers of our country do is sit and complain at their hatred rather than meeting it head on, we're all screwed and will soon be wearing red, trimmed with green of course. Wake up and realize you are huddled in the corner and being kicked. You are already in a fight whether you knew it or not.
I don't want something new or bold, I just want the Constitution to mean something again. I want a return, not a rebirth. I wonder if this politician is using this Big site to garner votes?
