It's always good to know that we have some very moderate muslims for our President and his Secretary of State to negotiate with...Ms Clinton better bring more than words to any meeting with these fellas.

This is an outstanding point, and should be pointed out early and often. When you look at what other religions lead people to do, it is usually SERVICE OF OTHERS, especially those who aren't part of the faithful.
It is truly shameful that our media can't make obvious connections like these...it is much easier to just kick W. one more time...

OldNotFool,
I've been lied to and I didn't figure it out myself. Thanks for informing me. I'm shocked.
Where do you get your ideas of Catholic prayer and the role of the priest as mediator? Chick Publications? Get real.
The Nicene creed is a development of Catholic doctrine, and was not "fabricated", any more than Jewish theology has been "fabricated". The creeds were responses to heresies that threatened the Church, most notably the Arian heresy.
As far as false messiahs, I'm guilty as hell of being deceived by that Jesus guy. I guess I should have studied the Torah as well as you have so I wouldn't have been hoodwinked.
Clay figures...we don't worship them. We don't pray to clay figures. Some Catholic parishes I've been at don't even have any "clay figures" in them. I'm not sure which "clay figures" you think the Catholic church puts before God. I'm really confused about your point.
I haven't seen the Pope covering the cross, so I can't say anything about that. I guess he could use you as a PR agent for what is and isn't the correct thing to do.
As far as the Jewish faith goes, I have nothing against it. I will say nothing bad about it, because I have nothing bad to say about it. I wish you well in your spiritual journey, and I pray to God (not to a priest or clay figure) that you know him better each day. Shalom.

OldNotFool,
Yes, the Catholic faith is a "sect" that diverged from Judaism. But we do believe in the "Oneness of the Allmighty", which is fully supported in the doctrine of the Trinity (and yes, the Trinity is a holy mystery, something which Christians contemplate but do not understand in every specific detail, any more than we can claim to understand anything else about the Allmighty in every specific detail). Please reconsider your words, and the spirit in which they are offered here at Jihadwatch.

"It might be the devil, or it might be the Lord, but you're gonna have to serve somebody"...
Robert Zimmerman (a.k.a. Bob Dylan) tops Cat Stevens with lyrical acumen.
I remember being in the Saudi barber shop (in Khobar Towers a few years before the islamists blew up one of the apartment buildings) and having only Cat Stevens/Yusef Islam pamphlets on "Why I became a muslim" to leaf through (no Sports Illustrated, especially not the swimsuit issue!). I started to dislike Cat from that time forward for his disingenuous self.
