Actual speed really does not matter. He was traveling at a speed too high FOR THE CONDITIONS and thus lost control of his bike in a curve. Actual speed is irrelevant.
At least he was doing something he loved.

Probably poor choice of words of the writer. (now THERE's a new one for KOMO!)
Considering it doesn't get dark till 9:30pm, or so he probably went out after a dinner for a boat ride; planning to be back home in time for the 10pm news.

What the h*** is WRONG with us in this state? Why can't we simply put people like this away and not have to worry about them roaming the streets? Why do WE keep electing the same wimpy politicians who do NOT make the courts enforce the laws to the extent that this does not happen?

The more I read about this stuff, the better Texas seems like a place to move to. Although I'm no fan of their governor, THEY know how to handle complete losers like these two: putt hem to death or put them away for a very very long time.

And what's up with the ridiculously low 175K in bail? Thugs like that walk around with 20K in their backpocket from drug money. How'd you think he paid for the Mercedes? Certainly did not get a car loan from AAA. I wouldn't be surprised if they're already out on bail.

He "looks" like your old boss. Well, IS he your old boss or NOT? His name is mentioned in the article.

Your post reads like he IS your old boss and you're really mowing him down ("you who want to hire him should be ready to check references and get to know him a little better first.").

If he's NOT your boss, you're not doing this guy a favor with your post that is not related to him at all.

Who says he's NOT been trying for 15 months? It' shard out there, especially i construction. Doesn't seem that s guy like him would not sit on his hands for 15 months and THEN hit the streets like this.

Kudos to him, he'll probably have a gig soon, if only because of this article. If I ran a company I'd see if I could fit him in ANYwhere, just becuase of his ethics.

In all seriousness, that's what I'll probably end up doing. I have absolutely NO use for 8 "free" bus passes. I know someone who rides the bus to go to work and she can have them.
