Looking forward to an outdoor shooting range that is not a hours drive in one direction or another. When I first moved here we were able to target shoot at a place across the road from the Beech Aircraft Plant that was on the Foothills Road between Boulder and Lyons. Those days are long gone with all the high priced homes in the area now!
And it starts by having us all register our guns!
Well at last we are getting some reality.

Christie is out eating a doughnut. Rubio may have appeared nervous but he was right on the money when it came to spelling out what this country really needs.
There's an old saying "You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time". First of all, the nation is not stronger and we are looked at as weaker in much of the world and our economy has not even begun to get back to where we were before the crash of the housing bubble that.was pushed on us by the liberals who thought more minorities should own houses whether they could pay for them or not. The on line viewer participation graphs last night made it evident that those in both parties now realize that this President's view of Utopia is nothing more than tax and spend and spend far more than can possibly be taxed thus creating an ever larger deficit. As a former Community Organizer all this President knows how to do is spend our tax money and grow government rather than the economy. He does not learn from mistakes of the past as he wants more money to create more Solyndras but this term he's calling it an investment rather than stimulus money.
What is evident in Obama's State of the Union Address is that he is still spinning and the speech was full of misinformation and exaggeration.
Just more of his tax and spend and from the graph at the bottom of this it looks like the majority of us weren't fooled and are opposed to most of his agenda. His so called investments in this and that is just more stimulus that didn't work during his first term and put us deeper in debt.
Obama did not address the debt tonight but certainly wants to add to it.
Dream on Representative Gardner. Our Campaigner and Chief will most likely continue to make excuses, play the blame game and be divisive and perhaps even derisive. If he runs true to form there will be little of substance and much spinning. Quite like the ads he ran here during the campaign. Obviously a great number of uninformed and misinformed believed his misrepresentations of what he stands for and is trying to do to this country. He and his followers want to dismantle our Constitution and bring us a very repressive form of government that is failing in Europe.and failed in Russia.
If wells can't be drilled within 500 feet of a home, that means two homes have to be at least 1,000 feet apart and how many subdivisions in Longmont have that much space between homes? My guess is zero to none. In many subdivisions the back yards only have 25 foot setbacks.
