Thank you for bringing light to this and giving some VERY useful information. I can't believe (well, I guess I can) that we haven't heard that this is happening NOW. I've sent out the emails to friends & family... It's amazing that most people, even when told, can't put aside 2 minutes to make a call or send an email. UGH!

We are holding 2 tea parties in Vermont, yes VERMONT!!!

There will be one in front of the Capitol in Montpelier from 12 - 2 pm and one in Rutland from 4 pm - 8 pm. We will be flying the flag, flying the Gadsden flag and carrying signs as 9 12'ers!

Hope to see more than 100 concerned Vermonters!

Have you checked the map out? It may show you tea parties near you.

In Vermont we are holding them in Montpelier from 12-2pm and there is one in Rutland from 4pm-8pm. You're welcome over here.....

Yes we work, but for this I'm taking the day off, my husband is taking the day off and I might just let my kids take the day off to see what is important, our freedom of assembly, our freedom of speech and standing up for what is right.

Obviously we all have to do what we can and if you can't make it, there are those of us that will be there to stand for your voice too.

Maybe you can make signs to hang up around your area to support a tea party that you can't make it too. Every little bit helps!

Thank you Dr Warren. What a perfectly worded petition. I've saved and printed the petition to bring to work, to send to my family and friends and to bring to my neighbors. I've been wanting to send, fax and mail to my reps (for what good that will do) and haven't known where to start (there's so much wrong with Gov't). Being from VT, I"m sure it'll fall on deaf ears but I feel I MUST DO SOMETHING!!! I"m going to base my correspondence on the key points in the petition and fax every day!!!

Looking for any fellow 9-12'ers living in the most liberal state in the union...Vermont. I would love to set up an April 15th tea party in the Northeast, if anyone from VT is out there....maybe one is already in the works?

I agree a march would get some attention, but definitely on a day when the wind-bags are supposed to be working for us, the tax payers! We need for them to be there, to take notice that "We the people" are not going to sit quiely by while they destroy our hard working, freedom loving country! They need to STOP SPENDING our children's children's money! Government programs ARE NOT the answer! Free Capitalism without Gov't bailouts is!
