This agreement is worthless and should be voted down. It amounts to $200 billion in "cuts" per year when the deficit alone is over five times as much. Also, those cuts are to the "baseline" spending amount, which automatically rises 6% each year.

Anyone voting for the bill should be impeached for fiscal nonfeasance and immediately removed from office.

Just wait -- Stuxnet 2.0 will screw things up even worse. In fact, the code name for the yet-to-be-released super-virus is "Vista".

Obviously, the mission of the "National Snow and Ice Data Center" is to turn tax dollars into utter worthlessness. Too bad they have a lot of competition.

There seem to be two types of "leaders" in the Middle East: secular autocrats like Mubarak, and theocratic thugs like Ahmadinejad. Periodically, the populace of whatever country gets fed up with what they have and agitate for change. Sometimes they get it, sometimes they don't, but it never works out in the long term -- and until the people figure that out, they will keep going in circles. Don't expect any meaningful help from the U.S., either; the left in this country has always been secretly envious of the Mubaraks (and Castros, and Chavezes) of the world.

One population prediction for 40 years in the future by some U.N. bureaucrats results in an unquestioned "trend" -- I guess that's what passes for journalism today.

"The question really should be: 'Why do we NOT eat insects?," said Dicke [.]

A few answers come to mind:
1. Our name is not Bear Grylls.
2. We don't have to.
3. They don't taste like steak.

Rest easy, comrades. Not only is Obama more politically aligned with Castro than with the American electorate, but killing Castro would not require the creation of a new federal bureaucracy or cost over $100 billion, so Obama's interest level remains at zero.
