The problem you have is, that your too slow. Do the same thing but be much faster. I just did it for three of my 3gs Sunday.

Today, i just went to Apple Store and got three 32g 3gs and luckily all three of them are still 3.0. Just in case someone wonder are they still 3.0 or not.
