The cowards who treat women like this know they'd never be able to stand up to a true gentleman or scenario where confidence, morals and respect come into play. Instead they prey on somebody weaker than them....and in the case of my ex-husband they are sly like a fox. Slowly over time, they isolate you from your friends and family, break down your own self worth and intellect.....until you're crushed in many aspects and unable to see any hope for a way out because at some point you have nobody to turn to. Some of us do find a way to escape and we carry the scars with us for the rest of our lives. But sadly too many do not. Don't be so quick to paint a resolution with a broad brush....it isn't so cut and dry.
My 6 YO nephew was snatched by the leg as he ran down a sidewalk by a pitbul that'd been chained in the owner's front lawn. The dog mauled him (he survived but still carries the scars) in the face, neck, arm, stomach and leg. Before the authorities / ambulance even showed up on the scene, and while others were tending to my nephew, the Owner went into his house, got his gun and shot his dog dead on the spot. Said he'd never own an animal that displayed such unprovoked and unexpected behavior. You just never know how an animal is going to behave.
That was my first thought too - and I've actually had to do that myself when a thug ran up on me in a parking lot a few years ago, yelling profanities and telling me to hand over my wallet. I yanked my purse from my shoulder and pitched it as far as I could from me, picked up my son and took off running for the grocery store I'd just left. I never knew I could run that fast....
The story doesn't say how old the child was, but if he was old enough to exit his seat IMO he's old enough to at the very least understand the word "NO". I'm glad I wasn't on that plane....sounds like this kid's parents allowed him to be somewhat of a menace to warrant the flight crew contacting the Police.
Ick....reminds me of a flying snake.
Heh heh....reminds me of that Hyundai Sonata commercial where batteries fail in various scenarios. My favorite is the guy trying to figure out which smoke alarm is beeping....cuz I've so been there before!
Disgusting....I watched all these clips people posted and with every one it made me wanna smack em all upside the head. $4000 a night for stripping? Not for sows like you, girly. Ack.
How can making information accessible to the public about a registered sexual predator be "too much"? In the example provided within the story - family members say their relative merely possessed illegal materials (child pornography), but can they really claim that this didn't somehow cause further harm to the children depicted in these mediums or that their family member didn't take it further? And why not include first time offenders? IMO....the first time they get caught is not the first time they offended.
Well, if every single one of us could be persecuted for our thoughts alone....the jails n prisons would be far more overcrowded than ever before.
