With gas predicted to go > $4/gallon, so much for the recovery. We keep biting our nose off to spite our face! What a way to run the country.
Every time gas goes up, so does unemployment because spending goes down on non-essentials. So, keep blocking any energy relief. Now they are predicting $4/gallon by late Spring. Makes sense, doesn't it?
A nest of cockroaches that trust that the law-abiding will never get around to spreading the "bait" to curtail their infestation of all that's good.
Are you saying his endorsement is something to seek out and cherish? Just goes to show the flawed judgement in the Newt camp if you ask me.
Just the tip of the iceberg. Given all the alphabet soup agencies out there trying to get their licks in on anyone showing any signs of economic life, we're just dead men walking!
Newt has demonstrated his oratory skills lots of times and sounds like a tough conservative. When he had the chance to put his words into action, he fell flat on his face. Romney may, or may not, have seen the light. Time will tell. Newt has too many character flaws (keeping his word is one), while Romney tries to do the right thing even though he's been caught up sometimes with socialist schemes (Obamacare).
Don't forget they'll have to probably haul off all the toxic waste that soaked into the ground. Maybe we need the EPA to get involved!
When you turn your back and allow folks to break the law without consequence, of course you'll have to pay for it somehow. In this case you have huge monetary costs and a lack of confidence in government to enforce the law all because those in charge "feel" a kindred spirit with the undisciplined crowd.
My point was - why is it that the Repubs are always playing catchup instead of being on the offensive? Didn't anyone see this coming weeks ago?
