I saw the report on the news the other day about the new 'secret facility', and this is the first article i have read on the topic.

The images of the facility appeared to show that it had been under construction for some time. If this is the case, why did Iran wait so long to comply with the IAEA requirement to notify them about the construction and intended purpose? If this was going to be a 100% above board operation, why not file the necessary papers of intent, etc, while the the project was still on paper and in the planning stages?

Another point to consider is this: The timing of the IAEA notification, just a week before a story was going to break in the media, is more than a bit suspicious to me. I am sure it is plausible that the filing takes time to appear in the official record, and while some fact checking must have occurred at some point, the evidence of the notification could easily have not been available at that time. If the filing records were not available during fact checking, it is easy to see how this could have been viewed as a 'secret facility', and the subsequent treatment of the matter in the Media. In the end, however, it sounds to me like Iran executed the filing in such a way as to preempt allegations of secrecy.

And if that IS the case, then I believe that perhaps Mr Roberts may have become an unwitting accomplice in spreading the notion that Iran is a victim of our Media Propaganda machine, and the Government it is alleged to serve.
