No they did not. Machine guns are perfectly legal for ownership and use in 42 states. We just happen to live in one that chose to ban them. Hopefully that will change in the future. Go read up on NFA firearms before you make anymore false statements.

What about the widows of servicemen or any other profession? Why are they left out? I have no problem with changing it so long as you change it for everyone. But to change it only for the widows of fallen police officers isn't fair to everyone else.

You are clueless. The cops aren't going to show up and see two people pointing guns at each other. They will show up and there will be one dead person on the ground. If the CCW holder is still alive, then he/she should have their gun holstered. The CCW hold should never have their gun in hand after the treat has been eliminated for this very reason. If the bad guy is still alive, then most likely he will either have run away or he will probably taking aim at the police.

At least he has time to take another vacation to Mexico now.
