I just learned not ten minutes ago that one of my best friend's dad died last night. And now Captain Phill too. Life is far too short. :-(
You seem very confused. The people who are legally carrying weapons for protection are the sheepdogs, not the sheep. The sheep are the ones who just follow the norm. The sheepdogs protect themselves and the sheep from the bad guys, i.e. the wolves. The sheep don't like the sheepdogs, but they need them in order to survive. I'll stick with being a sheepdog. You, however, are one of the sheep.
Humorous that many of the people who buy these cars are the same one who complain about a lack of quality in American cars.
An airsoft gun shoots plastic BBs. They are either air or battery powered.
Excellent post, took the words right out of my mouth. Hitting on 4 of 17 shots in a situation like that is not bad shooting at all. Nor do I think 17 shots is excessive. That's less than 6 shots each, which can easily be fired in the time it takes for the guy to hit the ground. And when you consider that their pistols probably held around 17 rounds EACH and they only shot 5-6 times, that show me that they exercised restraint.
Punching holes in paper at the range is not comparable with shooting at a guy pointing a gun at you. A 25% hit rate in a stressful, quickly developing situation like that is not very bad at all.
Can you really blame them if they did panic? They were maybe three feet away from a guy pointing a shotgun at them. I say everything the officers did was completely justified.
Screw that. Seattle gets more money than it deserves. How about fixing some of the other parts of this state?
Nearly every time I ride from Seattle to Kelso the train is sold out. In fact I just rode it last Friday and there wasn't an empty seat in my car. One time when I rode it last year, a couple of people sat on the floor because they overbooked the train and there were no seats for them.
