This Iranian gentleman sounds an awful lot like the Iraqi exiles who were egging the West to intensify sanctions and attack Saddams regime. That worked out really well for us. No wait. It worked out really well for them. They got the bankrupt West to spend it's money while sacrificing the lives of its soldiers to give the Iraqi's their freedom. Having done their work for them we were then unceremoniously kicked out of Iraq which now looks less stable than when we first invaded it.

Having learned absolutely nothing from history of no more than a decade and barely wiped our shoes clean of the excrement we just stepped out of, we are now eager to step into another dump on the sidewalk. Unbelievable.

The Iranians will oust their regime, but not while sanctions are in place and they are isolated. Sanctions do not work. Make a list of countries where regimes have folded under sanctions against regimes that have folded where there are no sanctions. Sanctions always strengthen oppressive regimes and make them more belligerent. Always.

The most amazing thing is the stupidity of those who would rather listen to an Iranian who has a vested interest in a conflict between Iran and the US than an American who values the lives of the American soldiers.
