Nothing about this showed up in the news coverage in the atlanta journal-constitution (ajc,com). You would've thought that Congressman Lewis being disrespected by anybody would've showed up in his local newspaper. As an atlanta resident, i am appalled at the treatment of congressman lewis, even though i strongly disagree with him ideologically.

Once again, the news is suppressed...

Now go cry to your union about it. Maybe you should tell the readers what your union plans to do: Take hostages like the Washington longshoremen? Take out the republican sons of b-s? Go on a strike and let the criminals run the city - kind of like Chicago where gangs are accosting people at the beach or on the Magnificent Mile?

You chose to be a cop. You chose to do SWAT. I don't owe you anything. You should have taken care of your retirement. Maybe you can get back what you put in. I bet it wasn't 125K a year. You don't deserve 125K a year to sit on your can and collect dust.

BTW: How are your union bosses making out? Do they pull in more money than you? Are they getting 6 figures yearly? Are they worth it? If a cop gets in legal trouble, do they help, or do they tell him to resign?

I guess we should just bow to the inevitable Clash of Civilizations War that John X. is always talking about. Too many people with hands in the cookie jar. Too few cookies. Time to fight over the cookies.

I guess you pledge money to the cop-unions over the phone, huh? That's a rip-off, you know. You should donate at the precinct. You'll feel better.

What is right = Make the federal government smaller. Cut all wasteful spending. Eliminate pork spending. Pass a balanced budget amendment. No more research grants. Cut DHS. Cut EPA. Cut NEA. Cut the Dept of Education (they're doing such an awesome job - sarc). Build a fence on our southern border. Bring home our troops from Iraq and Afghanistan and station some of them on the border with Mexico. Deport every illegal that ends up in the justice system.

Try this one: end the income tax. Repeal the 16th amendment. Then enact the Fair Tax.

Go crazy developing energy resources here. Drill in ANWR. Build that pipeline from Canada to the US that's in the news lately.

Repeal Obamacare. Allow for the sale of Medical insurance across state lines. Allow a la carte medical insurance. Watch medical insurance prices drop, and it will be sold via commercials on tv or online as a result - just like auto insurance.

I'm not running for office, but I'll be voting for candidates who say they will do (any or all of) these things.

Paying off bullies (dole-heads) so that they stay off the streets does not help in the long run. The government should not exist to support the dole-heads.

Try not to be such a cry-baby the next time you have a conversation, kid.

I guess you'd like to stay on course with what our federal government is doing. $14 trillion in debt and more every second.

I guess you never heard of "Cut, Cap, and Balance".

'13 is the earliest we can get a new Congress and President who have the will and the guts to do what is right. Americans are sick of debt and of being treated disrespectfully by their elected officials and bureaucrats.

How do you know my answers don't fix it? Do you think we should keep bleeding the people of their money and giving it to the government and then giving that money to the cronies of those in power and the bureaucrats? Maybe we should just pay for essential services that are outlined in the Constitution.

I don't take the dole, but apparently you do. We can start by cutting out your check from the government. I don't want my taxes going toward you anymore. How do you like that solution?

My money is on the crisis going full scale in November. 11/11/11 has an ominous ring to it. Plus, some Euro dude said they had 6 weeks left. Technically, 11/11/11 is 7 weeks from when he said it, but what's one more week if we float one more bailout proposal?
