The boycott must be large enough, but it seems conservatives IMO just aren't all that interested in making sacrifices.
Will do, now if I can just get the rest of my family on board.
If any one of the companies suddenly lost all the customers who have a real problem with the view, then it would certainly result in change.

Maybe it should be ABC we boycott or really any news outlet that is distorting the truth, if only conservatves received fair treatment in the media, the world would be a different place.

I wish people could digest what you are saying. I am a Bible believing Christian, but I think you are right on.

I personally believe we should focus on freedom. That freedom includes being atheist- includes sharing your reilgious beliefs as a christian or an atheist.

People are working, and it is spreading. We are fighting an uphill battle and are not as well armed, but we can win. It will take passion and perseverance, and the right ideas.

I think a time will come for leaders on a larger scale, but maybe its not right yet... I mean I don't think the movement is even defined yet-I know that takes some leadership... I believe it will take form within the next year and that will involve leaders standing up.

I am working with a few strong liberals who desire freedom and they are finally seeing what Obama is doing. They are in turn starting to talk to their friends.

I believe we need to unite around personal freedom, it is the most uniting theme to the American Soul, a very part of who we are.

If they used the photo for anything, yeah I agree with you. The right would be all over it, however, I think the silliness of it would be seen and the whole thing would quickly die.

IMO - since the president was no where near the plane, photoshopping would have been just fine...

yeah, you are right about it falling apart, I guess I went in a direction I never should have, let my feelings get in the way and started bashing off topic, irrelevant tax policy and general sentiment toward the wealthy. A dear friend of mine recently received notice her ss check would be reduced because she makes too much off investments. i guess it has to do with paying into medicare or something like that, I know very little about it...

Anyway, thanks for the compliment and the correction.

So you don't like that your rich state is paying too much money in taxes for poor states like Alaska and that your rich state doesn't get their fair share of the benefits?

That sounds eerily similar to the republicans.

I mean isn't it only fair for the rich states to pay for the poor states, after all the rich states can pay for everything themselves-they don't need federal tax dollars. They make enough money to support themselves and the poor states.

I suggest lets have the 24 states with the highest income pay all the taxes. Then whenever the benefits are handed out, I suggest we deduct a % for all the richest states. The more money they make, the less they get back in federal government programs.

If Ford makes it, I will probably buy Ford or some other foreign car maker only because I don't trust the government to make a car that is suited for me, I imagine they will make a car which they think I "SHOULD" want.

That is the problem with the government, they don't have to make money with their product so they can attempt to force us into a mold of their chosing rather than make something that fits us.

As I said before I believe you have been for the most part straightfroward, but these past 2 posts really seem like psychological warfare. I mean if you supported even a few of the ideas Glenn or the majority of this group believe in, I'd accept what you are saying...
I deleted my reply to your other post because I hate having the same conversation in 2 different places.

IMO Bush will be known as the president who brought the USA to its knees, while Obama will be known as the one who castrated it. I have strong disagreements with republicans and democrats,

I believe we should have laws to protect the people and give as much freedom as possible.
I edited out a few things if you saw this earlier.

He is being subversive.
He wants you to feel hopeless so you quit.

Just go back and read any of his past comments, over 100 of them.

He is not looking for any kind of leadership, he just thinks you are foolish enough to fall for his ploy.

I happen to agree with many of his attacks against Bush, and usually he is straightforward, but here he is just trying to discourage you.
