what about using the mini coasters as charms on a necklace? you could also cut the twigs down...and sharpen the ends--sand down the twigs and use them as hair sticks :)

A while ago, about 5 years, to be exact, my Dad did a 6month TV fast. Which wasnt too far of a stretch for us considering we didn't have a tv in the house til I was 12. Its amazing how much time is sucked up by the television. We played alot of games during that time. I found some great ones that I'll be sharing in a later post this month. I think the winter months are great times to implement family game night! :)

As far as a fast from my cellphone, I find it hard to do. However, in college, I came up with a little motto, "be with the people your with" Remember that Brett? I found it hard to make friends in Ohio and connect with the people there in the present, if I was busy texting and calling the people back home. So, i forced myself to put my phone away, and live in the present, with the people I was WITH that moment. Interesting how cellphones help us to be instant, yet sometimes we miss the moments with the people we are currently with! a blessing and a curse this technology

I think the best Church exchange present I ever got was the hideous 'christmas' scented candle with the faded nativity scene printed on it --and can anyone tell me what it was supposed to smell like? cinnamon? apple? fireplace? maybe THATs what chestnuts roasting on an open fire smell like? lol
