Left tackle is not a "luxury pick" at all, Jeff Backus is 35 yrs old, starting to get injure, has always gotten abused by elite DE's and the Lions FINALLY have a Franchise QB who just played his first full, healthy season out of 3. There is nothing but necessity being filled when drafting a player to leave NO GAPS IN PROTECTION for your Franchise QB. But thanks for always commenting, I appreciate the support! GO LIONS!
Yeah Dave, this was a pick that bring GREAT flexibilty to how they maneuver player along the O-line and the kids a talented football player, that's filling a need if I've ever heard it.

I can agree with everything except for Albert Haynesworth, he has fallen off a lot from what he used to be. I don't like his attitude either. I can see replacing Tulloch, although we better be SURE if we replace him, I don't want big LB problems again, I'd actually rather find an outside LB that has blitzing ability.

Yeah tpaulus, Nicks over CJ is a stretch but Stafford threw for an NFL all-time type of season 5,038 yards, 41 TDs against 16 Int's while playing a quarter of the season with a fractured throwing hand is worthy of QB of the year in my opinion.

I'm not the media, I'm pretty much anti media. But right is right and wrong is wrong, I'm not so much calling out the actual stomp as much as the LYING about it. Like I said in the article, say "screw it, I'll do it again" and I'm fine with that but don't pee on my head and tell me it's raining. Yes the league did try to make the Lions look bad in the way that they depicted us BUT there was only one player one one team stomping and that was our Lion's player by the name of Suh. Do you think that did anything to undo the image the league is trying to paint of the Lions? I certainly don't and the lying is the worst of it all!
