While I am still naive enough to think that NZ politicians don`t take cash backhanders,I am fucking glad that I am on tank water and have a septic tank cos ,the divvying up of our most precious resource water and other services to private corporate "CCOs" will be a total fuckup .

This was a kangaroo court of smear, innuendo and interruption of Monckton, in a most childish manner. Clearly the fix was in. Posner was neither interrupted, or challenged by Faine on any points raised. This shameful episode was totally slanted to the politically correct, labor approved outcome.
Faine would be sacked by an independent ABC.

Posner was the only one telling fibs.Posner ends up denying scientific evidence of no change in the ecology of the Barrier Reef in favour of anecdotes.

I recommend everyone listen to this debate and make up their own minds.

I would have expected the leading proponents of Global Warming/Climate Change to lead by example,ie video conferencing ,public transport and whatever energy conserving means necessary, yet we get Gore using a private mansion that uses more energy than a small town and charters private jets whenever the impulse grabs him.
So the only conclusion I can come to is that energy conservation is way down the list of priorities,emit all you like so long as he can collect the credits?
