Seems like this is simply the nature of the primary season. Fight in house before you take the fight to the out house. I'm not too worried.

I think so, He tended to be "Zealous for the Kingdom" driving out the money changers, calling sin for what it was, and even imposing stricter standards upon the people of God, ie divorce,
The difference that I see between Christ and the Church today is that He was about Orthodoxy as well as Orthopraxy, walking the line as only God could, defining the line in some cases. Now-a-days we somehow have developed a wall between the two, either vigorously living out spiritual and corporeal acts of mercy, focusing on the right practice or being a stickler of theology and right belief while living a cerebral faith. Christ would challenge both to live more in each other's world IMHO.

Time is a funny thing. One of the things that I hate to admit is that I am abusing myself and selling everyone around me short with my schedule. I'm pretty typical too. We all do too much. I can say no to things when my plate is full, sometimes it hurts to do so, but I have a hard time saying no when my plate isn't full, when I can say yes. and so life is usually out of balance.

The ability to say no is an important thing, even (maybe especially) to something as spectacular as this kind of opportunity.
