I too would like to known who was my paper carrier . That is one reason I stopped taking The Salisbury Post . I had to call the post if I did not get my paper ,or if I got it at almost lunch time on Sundays or at 11:00 thru the week . I called the Post and and for a few days I would get it before the afternoon and then it would start back to the old way . I had taken the paper for over 50 years and 6 months ago I canceled it . I now read it on line which I still cannot get use to .
My son delivered the post when you had to walk or ride a bicycle in the 60's and when they changed to cars he still carried it . We got the papers at about 4:00 in the morning on Sundays and had all of them out before 6:30 A.M. and these were put on the person's porch or where ever they wanted it and every one had our name and phone number to call if they had a complaint or questions . When I called the Post , they said our papers should be delivered before 7:00 every day now . I even asked for my carrier's name but could not get it Now I check it out on the internet . Your loss and also my loss as well as the carrier .

I am sure that at the time Alicia was not capable of thinking of anyone but what her problems were at the time . I am sure that if she were in her right mind she would have not have done what she did because of her children and what it would do to them . It was a bad thing to happen to all involved . I know it was hard for officers to deal with some one they knew so well and I thank God that Alicia was not hurt and did not harm any officer during this stand off. Lets everyone just pray for the family instead of talking bad about Alicia . It could have easily been one of us who did not know how to deal with life and I know her mind must have snapped from overload . There are Doctors that are trained to deal with things like this. I pray that she will get the help she needs.

I too have known Alicia and Tony since I was a member of First Baptist Church in Spencer . I am now a member of a Baptist Church in Salisbury . I worked with her in the Church's pre school program about 6 years ago . She is a very loving caring human being . Let remember that human beings do make mistakes in their lives . I feel like Alicia has a problem that she needs professional help with . Who know how long she has been trying to deal with this by herself . My prayers are with Alicia ,Tony and their children that Alicia gets the help that she needs and that they returns to a happy normal life . Lets don't judge her until the facts are all in . Remember don't judge someone else until you know all the facts and then pray for that person . Prayer does amazing things when we as human being fail . Alicia and Tony my thoughts and prayer are going up to the Lord to help you with a successful solution to this problem .
