See, "thou" (second person singular pronoun) is Indo-European in origin, which became "you," the possessive of which is "your". And I know one part of his name looks like it came from the proto-Indo-European "mater," which has a cognate in Modern Greek! That was followed by a couple short syllables that looked to me like a familiar verb and article, but perhaps I'm reading too much into them? However, another root I noticed in his name came to Europe from Mongol or maybe West Turkic by way of Byzantine Greek - I can't type Cyrillic, but I know this word was adopted into Russian, Polish, German, Middle French, and then English: "horde"!
Amazing the similarities you find among different languages, not only among those of Earth, but Azeroth as well!

The good news is that everything old is either new again or will be new soon (it just so happens Sodom and Gomorrah are hip right now). A degree of modesty in dress is coming back (look for the articles on appropriate office wear - sadly, there's a need for such articles, but their existence means skankiness hasn't triumphed!); romance is starting to come back, but it's fighting the hookup "culture." I can tell you, plenty of 20 and 30 something women are outgrowing the latter and hoping to meet a guy with balls and class! As long as women don't give in to hopelessness, romance could fully come back into our dating culture. If we win that battle, maybe discretion will be next?

But I don't want to see people f*cking each other - I want a f*cking good story! This blows. I guess I'll have to go back to books. :P

Yeah, some women feel bad when their unborn babies die. Others don't care. I can understand the first reaction, but the second is pretty damn callous.
I'm not so upset about abortion being legal - however, I am upset that so many women encourage each other not to treat it as a big deal. "Why should you feel bad? It was just some tissue," they say. But it's normal for women to care about their offspring, whether or not they make it to birth. This is why many crisis pregnancy centers offer post-abortion counseling - they know that those women who acknowledge that they have just killed their babies are going to need therapy.
