On minimum wage, I'd have to move, sell my car (wouldn't be able to put gas in it or insure it) and cancel my internet, health insurance, cell phone, gym membership, etc. The only things I'd be able to afford would be true necessities: food, water, shelter.

Same here. Lately I've been trying to stay productive, even if I am procrastinating when it comes to getting the most important stuff done.

LOL! I visited your blog earlier today, and no lie, I was this close * * to asking you who designed your opt-in form.

I'm the same way. For the most part, everything has its limits. Even though my electricity and water bill are included in my rent, I know there's a point where my landlord will pass any excess on to me. The same goes with the ATM refunds from Charles Schwab on my checking account. I try not to get too carried away with ATM withdrawals. If customers abuse the benefit, Schwab will take it away when it's no longer profitable.

I was about to transcribe some videos I posted to YouTube, and then I was like, let me see if someone on Odesk can do this for me. It's not that hard. We'll see how it turns out.

It took me years to work through my fears. At some point, I'll publish the blog post I wrote well over a year ago that helped give me the confidence to quit my job.

I don't know how weddings got so outta control either. I think too many women focus way too much on the wedding without giving much thought to the marriage. It's disturbing.

I love, Love, LOVE, the Real Housewives of anywhere! Well, except Miami and DC. They sucked. If I had a $20K, or even a $100K, ring, it'd never leave my finger. That's what the insurance is for. If you're going to lock it up where no one can see it, including yourself, why own it? Just buy a fake one and where that. I wouldn't have known Alexis' ring was fake if she hadn't disclosed it.

That's scary. I used to push my couch behind my door at night. I'll still do it if I'm alone at my mom's house. It makes me feel safer.

TaskRabbit sounds really cool. We don't have it here in DC yet, but it should be coming soon. Zaarly is here and there are a few tasks posted, but, so far, it hasn't gotten much traction. I suspect that will change in the coming years.
